I just returned from a little trip to visit my brother, Greg. My mother, and sister, Cindy were also there, and we all stayed at his apartment in Andersonville. it was so much fun hanging out in his awesome little neighborhood, that we rarely went beyond the village’s borders.
In Phoenix, neighborhoods are made up of houses and condos, but lack a gathering place for a community to get together and say hello. I miss walking down the street for a bite to eat, then stopping off at the post office, do a little thrift shopping, buy a bottle of wine at the neighborhood liquor store, and have an ice cream cone after a late dinner. Great cities are made up of little villages, and it was fun to feel a part of this awesomeness.
