Halloween has become too judgy and competitive for my liking. Attending a Halloween party is more of a competition than any fun. Prizes are given for best or scariest costumes, and there is way too pressure. Getting dressed up for Halloween has now become a red carpet event with everyone becoming Joan Rivers critiques. Clever costumes have become pop culture references that have to be timely, and sexy women have to be sexier every year.
I am all for keeping Halloween for kids. Every princess, Power Ranger, Spiderman, and pirate looks awesome. So tonight, come on to my house for some candy and non-judgement.
